Ramón Cots:
In charge of the kitchen at Restaurant La Sala since 1983, and currently master chef at the same restaurant, he has garnered experience at various Catalan restaurants of high renown both nationally and internationally. Counted among these restaurants, these include most notably: Jean Luc Figueras, Koldo Royo (Palma de Mallorca), Can Gaig, Can Faves and the Gran Casino of Barcelona.
He has also been awarded with several awards:
- 1985 the 1st prize of the "3eres Diades Gastronòmiques del Bages" contest.
- He received the medal from the "Fundación para el Desarrollo de la Dieta Mediterrània”.
- 1993 Diploma for authorized touristic merit by the Autonomous Government of Catalunya.
- 1998 Founding member of the " Confradia de la Gastronomía Mediterranea ".
These experiences have allowed Restaurant La Sala to set the standard of constant culinary innovations and high quality.
